Objectives

  1. To unite all alumni of the University and other esteemed friends and supporters of the University;
  2. To contribute to the ongoing social, financial and academic welfare growth of all the University’s alumni; and the University community at large
  3. To reasonably mobilize and equitably sustain a pool of funds to sustain the activities of the Association;
  4. To coordinate activities for advancing and promoting academic, research and co-curricular activities;
  5. To facilitate continued communication and contact amongst members themselves and with the University;
  6. To promote, assist and authorise the establishment and continual operation of regional and international chapters of the Association;
  7. To support current students at the University who are in need of financial and academic support and motivation by means of appropriate awards and scholarships or endowment schemes;
  8. Contribution to the University’s endowment fund towards University projects approved by the association.
  9. To liaise with other alumni associations of reputable institutions in Kenya and internationally so as to further the objects of the Association; and
  10. To support the University in its initiatives in accordance with this Constitution and as per any approvals granted at a general meeting of the members of the Association.
